Here are a few snaps taken on a tour of part of the grounds.<\/p>\n<p>More details can be found on Gatton Hall at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gattonpark.com\/\">http:\/\/www.gattonpark.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Gatton Town Hall was built when Gatton had a population of about 100 people and returned 2 Members of Parliament &#8211; the results had to be declared under a solid roof. The buildings behind are part of the Royal Alexandra and Albert school.<\/p>\n<p>The gardens were landscaped by Capability Brown. The Hall is mainly a replacement as the original house was destroyed by fire in the 1930s.
